Looks like something is off in their addition. It gives you x points for each category, but the points it says you have at the end of it don't add up.
Mine said 55, but points assigned were 95.....so I'm going with that!

I don't understand why it only goes up to 5 throttle bodies.

To the best of my ability I just did my KT100 Kart. Only thing I couldn't answer was the transmission. Having 1-Cylinder on the engine gave me all the score I needed lol.

Oddly my 01 Xterra was worth 122 points. I lost 10 points for the 3 cup holders but gained 5 for having an ashtray..

My 1001+hp Twin-Turbine-powered, air-cooled, 5 carb, 5throttle body, dual-charged body on frame dually el-camino of mixed origin with its 10 ashtrays, working digital dash, colum-mounted manual transmission, and hydropneumatic suspension/waterbed car from before WWII is the jalopest.

My most un-Jalop vehicle, Nissan Versa, scored a 16... And my '03 Chevy Tracker scored a 91. I'm not sure how accurate this meter is...

It's interesting that people think of them as German, when in actuality they're a bit of a hybrid (if anything leaning towards British). The platform used is a BMW, and the engine is one developed by BMW as well, but everything other part (and every single piece of testing and development beyond attaching the unfinished suspension to the chassis) was undertaken in the MG/Rover factory in Gaydon.
Here's a rather interesting quote (admittedly from a British car website ): "As development continued, there were further issues. Despite post-launch hints from BMW that it was a mostly German engineering effort, former MINI development engineer Robin Hall was keen to point out (in an interview for CAR in 2001) that initially, BMW’s input into the MINI amounted to setting a number of parameters. The brief from BMW was for a MacPherson strut front and Z-axle rear-axle layout. That was it. There are no BMW components in the systems and they were entirely designed at Rover’s Gaydon engineering centre in Warwickshire. The geometry, component stiffness, durability, compliances – all were specified and designed by Rover engineers"
It may be written by a website with bias, but I've found their articles to be fairly accurate when it comes to matters like this.
Hell, if anything it might net you a few more points :)

So it's mostly british. That explains why all of my oil leaked out and made my engine explode, it also explains why my gear box is run by a gremlin who randomly decides if it's going to shift. It was probably their idea not put in a telescoping steering column. It's all clear now.

The engine's BMW, so you can blame them for that.
I know the manual 'box is British, but I don't know about the auto.
No idea about the telescoping column, although from what I understand the packaging at the front is ludicrously tight.
